Welcome!

Mrs. Busboom and Mrs. Levitt have teamed up for the 2018-2019 school year and are really looking forward to having all of you a part of our team! We will be "departmentalized", which means you will have Mrs. Busboom for ELA and Social Studies; you will have Mrs. Levitt for Science and Math.  All of you will have a "homeroom" class where parent communication will be sent home and for students to check in each day.  

We will rotate daily and be with both teachers everyday.  This approach to instruction will give you a head start in preparation for middle school. Students will start and end the week with their homeroom teacher.  By doing so, this allows us to hand out papers from the week, collect Friday Folders, and communicate any upcoming events with our homeroom class.  

If a conferennce needs to be set up, they will be set up with both teachers so we can better share the entire day, instead of just part of the picture into their instruction. If you click on the tabs at the top of the page, you will find the ELA/Social Studies curriculum/assignments, as well as if you click on the Math/Science tab. All assignment will be listed weekly for the subjects under the appropriate tab.  

Additionally, you will see a "let's chat" tab.  This is where you can email us with any questions or concerns.  Please note that all responses will be from both teachers, again, to give you a more well-rounded picture in to each person's day. 

As the year progresses, a team officer will be voted in by their peers to take on the task of updating our team website every week.
